Direct Experience

                                           

माथे बीच रंगों की वर्षा, देखा बाबा रूपा |

वहीं बैठ त्रिदेवा देखा, पुनर्जन्म सब रूपा || 

It is the most difficult task to describe life manifestations in phrases. But I don’t have options available to me. I know these experiences are purely personal and sacred, even to speak of them is sacrilegious; but if I want to motivate someone or to draw someone on this path, it would be a motivating proponent for them. That is why I have reason to share with the seekers. 

Those days I was doing intense kriya practice and practically nothing else occupied my mind. I am sure there were some reasons behind this divine manifestation of life. Life wanted to convey a message to me that I am not only a physical body, but an infinite entity that is part of cosmic intelligence. By that time, my understanding was not enough to interpret that manifestation of life. 

On November 2018, one saturday night, I was alone in the house. My wife was away, gone to meet her mother, and at around 10 pm I went to bed to sleep. I lay on the right side of the bed and slept. Suddenly my forehead developed shimmering jewels, gleaming light, and all sorts of colours started emerging from my third eye. Maybe lightning is the signal to me to wait and see that something great has to happen. This manifestation of life was my first experience to witness. I turned my body sideways,but the fountain of colours kept on emerging.

The scene does not belong to this planet. There were only beautiful colours, nothing else, and this scene was visible to me with my closed-eyes. The mind attaches to sense organs perceiving eyes, and  Self controls the mind and perceives it. So my consciousness or Self was the witness of what had happened that night in awareness. Unlike in deep sleep, the mind and sense organs cease to function. Since this was happening in a waking state, the mind was in control of the Self. Therefore, Self was the ultimate Seer because no other seer of the happening on that night was to exist. Mind and Self were single entities, and I was enjoying the profound ecstasy that had engulfed my existence. 

The Atman(soul) or the innermost Self is the ultimate perceiver. With this divine experience, the message to me was to make me understand what has happened at night. My inner being (Soul) was the perceiver of the incident, not the eyes, and not the mind. All entities from the gross objects to the mind are products of ignorance (avidya) which itself is insentient. 

That scenery of light was replaced by a black-and-white image of Baba ji Mahavtar and it shifted back. Soon after, a tri-face emerged. To see this, my Self perceived them as Brahma- Vishnu- Shiva. This scene also disappeared and a train of various unknown faces started emerging as I am watching and various human faces depicted for different reasons. These faces appear to belong to my past life incarnations. I remembered a quote from Om Swami “Reincarnation is the soul’s journey to perfection. So, reincarnation is the progress of a soul through many lives on the earth plane, as through so many grades in school, before it ‘graduates’ to the immortal perfection of oneness with God”. 

The scene of a train of unknown faces continued for quite a long time and I don’t know when sleep has taken me in its lap/embrace. I couldn’t even think of extending gratitude to my Guru and that Supreme power who showed this perfection. It’s the progress of a soul through many lives on the earth plane, as a divinity to me. I got up in the morning in a fresh, exciting mood, and composed poetry mentioned at the top of this write up or explanation of my hindi verse. Just After this I pan down ” Life Now” which reads: 

अब नहीं कोई पथ भ्रम की स्थिति, निंदर |

जीवन की नाव को सही दिशा में खे रहा हूं ||
